According to eMarketer and a study conducted by Forbes, forty-eight percent of marketers said that search engine optimization (SEO) was the best method for generating conversions online. More than one-half of marketers with budgets over $1 million agreed. But don’t think that you need a million dollar budget in order to have your internet marketing strategy succeed.

Internet marketing can be a much more affordable and effective approach for businesses, especially if ad budgets are low. Sure, more traditional forms of media like TV, radio and print can still be viable strategies, but keep in mind that the way that people consume advertising is changing. Your target audience now has the opportunity to ignore, fast forward, and flip past your message without a second thought.

This is where internet marketing comes in. SEO, E-mail Marketing, Pay-Per-Click Advertising, and Social Media Marketing reside online – where most of your target is flocking to to find information about products, services, or just about anything. The great part about these strategies is that they are much more consensual than traditional forms and instead of being annoying, their intention is to be helpful and informative – while driving up conversions and traffic to your site. Not to mention, SEO, E-Mail, and social media offer results without having to purchase ad space – giving you a chance to stretch your budget and get the best return on investment.

Instead of spending your ad dollars on traditional forms like print, TV, and radio, make the switch to affordable online methods like E-mail, SEO, and PPC– but don’t try to do it alone. Internet marketing is best left up to an agency who knows the turf and has a firm grasp on what it takes to boost your visibility, increase traffic, lift conversions, and make your web presence strong and effective.
